HIT Systems has a specific concentration on the high growth and transitioning healthcare technology market sector being fueled by the national healthcare reform movement and the recently passed HITECH component of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

HIT Systems offers virtual computing infrastructure, commonly referred to as “Cloud Computing”, Electronic Health Records (EHR) sales and implementation and IT support for the healthcare industry. The HITECH Act, a component of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act or stimulus package, has allocated $19.2 billion for healthcare IT spending, projecting an explosion of growth over the next 5 years. For the first time incentives are being issued to physicians through 2014 to migrate from traditional paper health records to Electronic Health Records (EHR), with penalties being issued thereafter. Less than 5% of physicians today have adopted the use of electronic health records, leaving approximately 95% of the market share available. Market research indicates the limited competition in our market segment is highly fragmented, creating a significant opportunity for sustained, profitable growth.
